  6. HOW TO ORDER WhereIsIt?
  7. =======================

  9. By installing WhereIsIt? on your system you indicate your agreement to
  10. the following terms:
  11.  
  12. You may give individual copies of the unregistered shareware version to your
  13. friends. You must preserve original WHERISIT.EXE file and distribute it only
  14. by giving away this file. You may NOT in any way modify or disassemble this
  15. program, nor distribute such versions. Under no circumstances may this
  16. program be sold or lend by any other person as author himself.
  17.  
  18. WhereIsIt? is a shareware program. You may test program out at no charge
  19. for an initial trial period of 14 days since the day of installation. If
  20. you want to continue using WhereIsIt? shareware edition after that period
  21. you must register. Please send a registration form to the author (address
  22. is included at the end of the document). You should include the registration
  23. fee, payable in US dollars ($30 USD), German marks (50 DEM), or Slovenian
  24. tollars (4000 SIT; for Slovenian users only). with the registration form. If
  25. you would like to receive program and registration data via regular mail on
  26. floppy disk, please add $5 for shipping and handling.

  29. see below.

  31. When your registration form and fee have been received, you will get your
  32. own personalized registration data to register the shareware version and
  33. unlock it to its full capabilities. Unless arranged otherwise, this data
  34. will be sent to you by e-mail.

  37. TRY OUT THE BUILD-IN "HOW TO ORDER" WIZARD

  40. If you already have WhereIsIt? 2.00 or newer installed, you will probably
  41. want to use the built-in "How to Order" wizard to decide which is the best
  42. way for you to register this program. The wizard will present and describe
  43. all available options to you, let you choose the best options for your
  44. specific case, and help you to either place the order online or to print out
  45. the already filled order form based on your selections. Using this wizard
  46. does not force you into any commitments until you actually place the order -
  47. you can just run the wizard to learn about possible options, or print an
  48. order form to send in later.

  51. REGISTRATION BENEFITS

  54. After receiving the license fee each registered user in entitled to:
  55.  
  56. - A personal registration code, to unlock current and all future releases of
  57.   shareware version, available on the Internet. This way, you can always use
  58.   the latest version of this program, and enjoy all new features.
  59. - Optional program delivery on CD-ROM or floppy disks, for additional payment
  60.   of $5 USD shipping and handling.
  61. - Access to a free mailing list to be notified about program's latest news and
  62.   current development.
  63. - Free technical support via e-mail for a period of six months.

  65. Registration benefits can be suspended if registered user had violated
  66. license agreement, for example by distributing his personal registration
  67. data to other unlicensed users.

  69. The latest version of WhereIsIt? can be found on program's WWW Home Page
  70. ( http://www.whereisit-soft.com ). As a registered user, your license will 
  71. be valid for all new versions of this software, allowing you to unlock new 
  72. shareware versions and use them to their full potential.

  77. ORDERING BY CREDIT CARD
  78. =======================

  80. You can order the fully licensed version of WhereIsIt? over the Internet
  81. from PsL, a credit card ordering service (WhereIsIt? product number on PsL
  82. is #30134). PsL will accept all major credit cards in use today, including
  83. MasterCard, Visa, Amex, and Discovery. To insure that you get the latest
  84. version, PsL will notify me within one business day of your order and I will
  85. ship the product directly to you (sending you registration data by email, or
  86. disk by regular mail, if so requested).

  88. Please note!
  89. Registration fee for ordering WhereIsIt? by credit card is a little higher
  90. ($37 USD) than if you send me the fee by mail or wire it to my bank ($30
  91. USD). This is due to all the taxes, PsL fees and bank fees, that your order
  92. must go through before reaching me. However, in some countries it may still
  93. be s better option, since bank may charge you an extra fee for wiring money
  94. to other state (the cheapest option is still just sending the fee by regular
  95. mail, in the envelope).

  100. There are three ways how to place an order for WhereIsIt? with PsL:

  102. - You can go online and access PsL Web ordering form from WhereIsIt? home
  103.   page. Click on the "Ordering" button and then click a link to PsL's
  104.   secure order form in the "Credit Card Ordering" section. Form is on a
  105.   secure connection to protect your data.
  106.  
  107. - You can FAX your order to PsL at 713-524-6398. Please include the fully
  108.   fulfilled registration form; ask for product #30134 and please type or
  109.   block print very plainly. Include your credit card number, expiration
  110.   date, and your bank's name and phone number from the back of the card or
  111.   from your statement.

  113. - You can email your order to PsL. The email address is "30134@pslweb.com".
  114.   Data to include is the same as if sending fax.
  115.

  122. SENDING PERSONAL CHECK OR CASH

  125. If you don't have a credit card, or if you don't want to use via Internet,
  126. you can also send me a personal check ("cheque" in some countries) for
  127. specified registration fee amount ($30 USD, 50 DEM). If sending an
  128. EuroCheque, please use your local currency instead, equivalent to $30 USD
  129. (if non-local currency is used with EuroCheque, bank will charge me an extra
  130. fee that is often higher than value of cheque itself). Please make sure your
  131. check is made payable to my own name (Robert Galle).

  136. HOW TO WIRE ME A REGISTRATION FEE
  137. =================================

  139. You can send the registration fee in order to register WhereIsIt? by
  140. sending it to my international bank account directly from your local bank.
  141. There is hardly a bank in the World that would not support this service,
  142. however please note that most banks will charge you an additional fee which
  143. can be quite high in some countries. You may want to check out the details
  144. with your local bank first. If you have any second thoughts about paying
  145. this way, please fell free to consider other available options to send the
  146. registration fee.

  148. IMPORTANT!
  149. Please don't forget to send in a fully fulfilled registration form, too.
  150. Some of this data is needed to generate your registration key. Be sure to
  151. include your Name and Company in the form (for company, you may write down 
  152. "private" if you are not employed yet or you don't wish to involve your 
  153. company).

  160. sending the fee in any of major world currencies, but USD or DEM are
